To all my friends on this support group - thank you for all the love and encouragement you have shown me while trying so hard to cope with your own pain and loss.
We look forward to the end of this year with the hope that next year will be better and I pray for you all and send out prayer requests to prayer warriors all over the world to keep you all in prayer.
I pray that we shall all be reunited in peace with our lost children and grandchildren and that life will smile on us once again. That we go to sleep at night knowing that all our sheep are in the fold as it were - at peace with themselves and with us - and that when the morning breaks we no longer feel that sense of dread, but the spring in our step returns to greet another day because Christ has heard our prayers and God has reunited us with our family in closeness once again.
Never, ever, ever give up hope. Let us live in faith, believing that God will hear and answer our prayer just as he heard the prayer of the father of the prodigal son.

I am thankful for this space to share tears and prayers with you all who know my pain, are living your similar losses, hopefully temporary - the distance our children have put between us. No one else truly understands the loss of an adult child by estrangement.
Thank you for your prayers, for listening to my sadness. It is such a gift that you give me to hold on to hope. If I was to say one thing, it would be that God has blessed us with each other to strengthen our faith and that in itself is a great blessing.
