CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
I have been off the forum for a few months..but I am sure we could do this again. We can pray anytime, but if we pick a certain time to collectively pray..that would be wonderful.
I believe that we chose to fast and pray on the first Saturday of each month..I believe we decided to do this back in the spring. Correct me if I have made an error remembering this...I would have to look back at much earlier posts. We are quickly coming up to the first Saturday of August..so maybe we could pick that day to start doing this.
I'm on board with this idea..anyone else???
Maddy
We will probably hear from her sometime after all the extra activity that naturally happens with weddings...big or small..weddings are known to take up a lot of emotional and physical time and energy.
MamaDon..we can fast from anything really..even from say watching television, or something else that would take our time away from prayer.
I am so thankful to have a reconnection to this wonderful group of Christians. We are not alone...there is real comfort in knowing that our pain is understood by others who are going through the same. Estrangement is truly understood only by those who are living through it themselves. We can encourage each other and certainly this collective group prayer time will be really helpful.
HUGS to everyone here.
