CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
How can we move forward accept through our faith in Jesus is correctly answered. I love your response to your ES when you said the you don't follow the same Jesus I do then. How could our EC follow Jesus. He is all about love, grace, forgiveness, and family.
God bless you Guelsmom and ES each mom here with His love and comfort.
Blessings

In some ways it has been good to go through this process and in some ways it has not been healthy for me. As I tried to "paint a picture of his life through photos" I became a part of those moments all over again. Soon sadness crept in and took over at the realization that there is no ending to the "photo story." My story album ends abruptly. My story was supposed to end with a photo of our graves with caring son, DIL, and grandchildren remembering the good times about their grandparents that they could take with them into adulthood like it does with me and my grandmothers to this day. They will be deprived of the absence of being a part of their heritage photo story. Our story ends with us having a great day swinging on the park swings with a nine month pregnant DIL, playing baseball with her then 3 year old son and then me holding our first grandchild with absolute joy on my face. Five days later our world fell apart and there is no reason to take photos any longer. I have nothing now to take pictures of - except flowers. Sad, very sad.
We grieve our loss but we must continue to pray for God's grace each day to move forward with His healing grace. We must pray for our prodigals because only God knows how the story will end.
PS. I posted Ring on Finger. I know the enemy wants me to give up but Jesus does not. God bless us all today.
Thank you. Very well said. The picture you paint is like looking into a mirror.
Love and strength to all.
That photo that I posted on this groups Home Page where other photo are posted, was posted on Facebook for "the whole world to see" but yet it was deemed not ok, to post it to a group of 700 estranged parents and grandparents. Anyone in the universe could have taken that photo and done something malicious with it but there was no fear of that in this Christian group. I was ordered to take it down merely out of revenge. That is the part that hurt because they both claim to follow Christ.
