CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...

Another kick in the gut.
On birthdays, I always recall the day my kids were born. I still remember holding them, looking into their eyes and promising to take care of them forever. I never imagined it would end like this. I guess that’s the most difficult part for me, is realizing from that day to this, something went terribly wrong.
Today has been especially difficult, so I came here to see if anyone else has problems with birthdays. It’s so nice just to know that I’m not alone, because although I have a wonderful husband, family and friends, no one really understands how a mother’s heart breaks except another mother who has been there.
Please know that we understand and are here to support you in birthdays or any days.
Would you be friends with people like that and keep wanting to see them hoping they will change and accept you?? Our priorities get really confused when it comes to our AC, I know that. But I had to "force" myself to admit that I just cannot allow this any longer. Believe me I have went through all this and realize they are not helping me they are hurting me.
It is a choice and then a plan.....I will not allow it to be a "need". (hugs go out to all of you)
