Remember we suggested to one another the first Saturday of the month?

Let's spend some time in fasting and pray for the reunification of our families - that our children stop being selfish and turn to God and realise that time is fleeting and they need to make peace.

Remember the reminder too that we can fast anything - anything that will free us up to pray.

On board with this for sure.
I hope to fast from television as well as a few meals.
Thanks for the reminder! Praying keeps us focused on God, which is what we need to be doing because He's the Only One who can intervene and mend the brokenness.

When I think "fasting", I always think it has to be from food. But as sadmad11 says above, it can be from anything that engulfs us and our time - time away from God. I hope to fast from any gossip or idle conversation with a neighbor or friend about another neighbor or friend, innocent as it seems and instead pray.
