My ED is an atheist, I am a Christian. She uses faith as a source of estrangement. Does anybody have experience with this?

My daughter had professed to be a Christian and is now living with an atheist. She got tired of hearing my "fake" walk with God. She is an angry person playing in the devils playground

Paula....It is not the cause in our situation but I do know from being here for some time now, that there have been other members in the past as well as the present what have that experience with either their own children or being influenced by atheism in some manner.

Atheism is the belief that God does not exist. But when it really comes down to it, any false religion is really a religious belief system that is against the God of the Bible - atheism is but one of the many, many other false beliefs about God.

My ED is married to a former Catholic turned bitter agnostic. He doesn't acknowledge or discuss God in his life the few times I've been around him. He has attended church with ED may be at Christmas and Easter like many out there in the world do. He might as well be heathen with his attitude. He has become his own self-serving god like so many in that generation are doing. He has no need for God.
