CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...

Our ES also estranged due to evil DIL. He is not happy but pretends to others he is and doubt he would leave her with 3 kids and would be mega child support along with admitting we were right when we warned him about her. I have never in my whole life seen a more sneaky, manipulative person. She parades around like a believer but is a "wolf in sheep's clothing" ~~~~> Matthew 7:15 -- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Yes, God works in many ways. Wish we could choose what trials we get, but then they wouldn't really be trials, would they? My husband and I agree that we are different people now- than before estrangement began. Different- as in better people- we are less judgmental, kinder and more compassionate because we've seen the other side of the "perfect" family we thought we had.
Praise be to God who knows all things, and knows what's best for each of us.
It is very sad at holidays. We have learned to plan ahead and sometimes we stay out of public so we don't have to feel the hurt when we see families together.
Our ES just recently contacted us and we did have him here for July 4....It was so good to connect back up with him, he has changed his ways and is no longer hostile at us and angry...his marriage ended and so ended the anger.
There is hope, I just keep praying! God hears our prayers, I know this, it's His timing that I have difficulty with...but I am learning patience...boy is it difficult!!!
Hugs to all!
