The Enemy is very smart. He will do whatever it takes to keep God's children in bondage. The enemy whisper's lies and false truths trying to convience us that we are empty and worthless. What lie are you going to break today? Declare victory by denoucing the lies that has kept you down and depressed.

Here's mine:

there is a lot of wisdom in what you wrote. i believe we live with such a battlefield in our mind, and in the word it tells us to transform our minds. though we do that by reading the Word, it takes work to transform our thinking and not give into the lies. thanks for sharing that!

I have been praying and meditating on this very topic for a good while now. You are totally right. satan will pick at us until we give in or rebuke him and then he will find another path to us.

I've been trying to pray immediately when I have any negative thought or experience. it has helped me immensely.

for me it is that I DO NOT have to conform to this world, the only one I have to please is God. (that doesn't mean I don't try to be helpful or whatever, but it's about who my LORD is)

I may be middleaged but I am not worthless. I am a child of God!

sometimes when I feel satan coming round I will say loudly (in my house) "Christ is Lord here. you just go away now. I ask God to rebuke you." playing Christian music most of the day seems to keep him away too.

Amen. Though I am new in my faith, and struggle with some things, I know that it is satan that is causing the evil and the illness in my life. I love to play christian music and try to shout out and rebuke satan when possible. Praying and meditating on His word has been helpful for me, and attending a Life Group/Bible Study at my Church has been wonderful as well.

Knowing that I am a child of the Almighty God, King of Heaven and Earth is the most amazing and comforting feeling!!!!
