It is 6:30 a.m.. (Monday). My body aches got better. I am doing a little bit more clearing near the kitchen sink and a little bit more in the basement and will call the woman at the city.

10:00 a.m. I talked to the woman and was told they can put the water heater in. It turned out she didn't know it can't be done until the leak at the kitchen faucet is fixed. So we are waiting for the plumber who never showed up six months ago. And the woman's answer is the same, does not know whe the plumber will come. I hope this does not push off to another six months. Please pray that the woman will do something.

I know this has been a wild ride for you. I am sending prayers you get this done this week or next week. Our bodies sometimes feel better with all the physical activity after they feel worse. Stay strong.

Thanks, hasty, for your kind words. About the water heater and kitchen faucet replacing or repairing, it seems to have got stuck at point A again. As to the clearing, I can take time to move things out of the way for when they will put the new flooring covering in the kitchen (I am sure they are not in a hurry to come for that. It is nice of them (her) to approve it). The kitchen is very small so the floor does not have much space. I am pooped out today. I felt better when I got up but feel weak again. I hope the woman at the city will understand clearly now that the leak needs to be taken care of first before the water heater can be installed. I hope you are doing well yourself.

I'm making it, LavenderC. I am having a lot of testing done lately and once again feeling grief that two people I know died. One was my very dear friend, she lived till 98. I knew it was coming for about 2 years. I took a walk up one slope and down another on my street today as I felt so antsy I had to go outside. Am also trying to keep walking further and further. Like you have to clean up so they can do the work needed! I am sore and tired now. I don't sleep well for the time change, either Spring or Fall. Takes me a few weeks. I guess tomorrow I will not walk as far but today I needed to push myself and be outside a bit longer. I am talking about just walking down my street, not even a mile. You have a lot of your plate. Just take it baby steps as I call it, little bit at a time. I hope they come get that dang kitchen faucet replaced. And the hot water heater, it is getting to be the type of weather where cold showers are not pleasant.

We use large size tea kettles to boil water to mix with the cold water for bath. Our bathroom is very small so there is very limited space for buckets. I hope the woman at the city got it now that the kitchen faucet needs to be taken care of first.

I am sorry you are dealing with pain too. I hope it can get better. I saw in some youtube clips that talks about older people (70) should not walk too much. I had a friend who always walked to catch buses, and she had diabetes (not from walking), and still walked a lot at 70 and passed away, She had the lipo suction many years before that. Her husband said she couldn't get enough nutrient which was the cause of something that caused her to die. I have fibromyalgia. lifting, carrying heavy objects is bad for my neck and back and hips, My ankles get bruised easily. I will be 71 six days from today. I will remember to pray for you. Please keep me in your prayers too.

Thank you, Beryl. There is still a long way to go with the decluttering the whole house. I feel exhausted about the kitchen faucet and water heater situation. I don't know why it takes this long for the plumber to come to give the estimate. I have no way to contact the plumber who does jobs for the city. The woman didn't say they are not going to do it. In her letter that I received a week ago, it sounded like they were ready to do the kitchen faucet since she told me to clear the area. She then went back to "I don't know when they will come to give the estimate." I try to not think about it.
