The enemy will try and steal our joy. God is always in control. I wanted to share with you something that God did for me this past weekend. As the bible teaches us we need to take care of the widdow and the orphans. Well a group of people from my church and one neighbor came in my house this week and gave my first floor a makeover.
God supplied everything, through donations, and time, and it looks awesome.I did not have to pay anything out of my pocket or lift a hand. But more importantly it was done out of love. My fathers love for me. He sent each of these people in my life to help. I went away to a retreat and came back to a clean house and a makeover clean sweap style. All from God.
The enemy attacked me the minute I came into my house. He did not want God to be glorified. He put things in my head and that they invaded my privacy. I became bitter and anger. And went to the Lord in Prayer. I asked for forgiveness and asked for help to understand the change. The enemy also had my son being disobedient.
But today GOd reminded me that it was out of love that the house was cleaned and changed, I serve him and they were serving HIm. By doing this for me. Love touched me from head to toe. And peace fills my soul.
So the enemy tried to steal the joy but did not win!!! Praise the Lord!!!
