Christian Fellowship Community Group
A safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies. Please let us know your needs, concerns and have some fun getting to know each other. We treat each other with respect.
You have done nothing to bring this on. Your first church was wrong to handle things like they did with you. Telling you that you should have moved past something you clearly are not ready to move past and them treating you with less than love respect for your feelings causes me to say that I hope you don't go back there. It was a comfort zone of sorts but it isn't a good thing. Just like for a smoker, the cigarette is comforting and feels safe but it is not.
The sex that happened is not some huge unforgivable sin. ( None are) Of course
we want to repent and not keep sinning but it looks like you did this. God has forgiven you. Now you just close that door and when it rears it's ugly head tell it no one is at home.
Believing that God will be mad if we don't do things a certain way like read your bible so much a day is a common fear. Don't buy into it though. God loves you. Accept that alone. Look to Him to provide you with what you need and what you are to accomplish. Let Him be the potter and you be like clay in his hands. Be at perfect submission and rest in his hands. Let the fear go and know He is working in your life to renew and refresh you.
My niece has panic and anxiety and I know how she suffers from it. Are you under a doctor's care for that? If not there may be a medication that can help you as you heal.
We are taught in the Bible by our Lord to tell satan to "get thee behind me".
I believe our warfare is more in our living than by telling satan to go because when we are walking in the light he cannot touch us.
~ This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.~ First John
~We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the One who is born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.~ First John
You are kept and preserved by the Holy Spirit. Do not fear all the other... I went thought a time too when I thought maybe I had opened doors and that I had caused things... but I cryed out to God for help. I did thing until the tears stopped flowing... it took many months. Maybe our healing is locked inside sometimes waiting to get out and it just buried under so many layers that it is hard to get to. Especially when we keep questioning our relationship with God and we wonder if He is mad at us, because clearly that is against everything He has told us He is to us and FOR us.
I will wrap this up now. I just want you to know that I want peace and wholeness for you. Always choose the path of peace and what makes you feel peaceful in your spirit. God has given us a gauge to measure out what is good for us and what doesn't cross our boundaries and hurt us. Listen to your self. Do not fear. Be still and Know that He is God. He is for you.
Nothing can separate you from His Love!

I have experienced much anxiety and ptsd over traumatic events and I can relate to your fears. I always thought God was mad at me too. Its a lie from the devil
God loves us and wants the best for us. Please say this out loud and if your husband can say it ..that will be really good as the man is the spiritual head of the home.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I command any and all evil spirits in this home and property to leave immediately and never return again.
Please dear Lord , we come to you and ask that you give our sister Healingtears peace that surpasses all understanding. please comfort and bless her and her family.
amen
Is this all I need to do and it will get easier? I guess because I don't have immediate faith I feel like god wont help. But as god helps each situation my faith grows. Does that make sense? My experience is helping build faith and trust in god. I just don't want to disappoint god because my faith needs to build.
But one of my favorites is below; and when Jesus talks about giving us his Kingdom, it begins right now.....we don't have to wait for the afterlife to experience his kingdom.
True enough, we often try to make God into someone who is mad at us....then we feel guilt. But none of that comes from God. It's Satan who wants us to feel guilty and unworthy. So if you understand this as a spiritual attack, you can see it for what it really is and take action. And we all experience these things so you are not alone.
Luke 12:
22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 23 For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. 24 Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[b]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith! 29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. 30 For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
