About the shadow of the cross in the picture, I feel it was intentional. Last night while lying in bed, I thought about how severe and frequent natural disasters have been. It is so unpleasant to be alive today. It is not like anyone can just move away from the dangerous zones of their hometowns. I feel puzzled and scared. Last year, around June, a tornado hit about three miles away from my house. It knocked down some trees. No serious damage to homes or death. We get this kind of tornado once in a great while. There are a lot of trees on our block. I wonder whether they help block the strong winds. The branches fell on our lawns quite often. I feel bad for people who live in frequent violent natural disaster zones. Where I am, it is pretty safe compared to Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Alabama, etc. There are frequent cases of houses burning down but not by natural disasters and there are no wildfires.
I never noticed a shadow on our steps that looked like a cross even though the two sticks (rods) that crossed each other were there for a long time. When I saw the second one (shadow), I felt God protected our family from the tornadoes and also wanted to remind me about the meaning of the cross (salvation and how He gave it to humans). He knows I had not thought about it much even though I have been consistent in prayer. I have not attended church for a long time. Pastors like to remind church members about Jesus dying on the cross to save us.
I hope you have a good week. Please pray for me for strength and better health and energy to get things done. I will be prayer for you when I pray.
