To believe in God, I feel, you also need to believe in satan and demons.

What better way to get others not believing in God than to get them to doubt satan or demons exist.

James 2:19 (NIV)
19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

James told us that there are demons--and they shudder because they believe in God!!!

Just a few scriptures that, to me, prove that demons exist!!!

I believe in them as well. I have had weird experiences in my life that make me believe demons were trying to pull me away from God and ruin my life.

Paul said in Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We are told to put on the Whole Armor of GOD and do battle

I believe they are here on earth with us. They know they can't make it to Heaven so they want to ruin it for us too.

We must remember to always stay on the path that leads to Jesus. The door at the end of that path is closed to evil.

God is in control. That means he is sovereign or Lord of everything that happens. Satan and his minions are wimps, and they cannot destroy your life, if you are trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,[a] for those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths." Prov. 3:5-6.

God is in control.

When I was first saved , I had the misconception that Jesus and Satan were on equal footing.
My Christian mentor explained to me

Jesus is the God of creation and of all things seen and unseen, Lord of Lord and King of Kings.......satan is as an ant under the foot of Jesus

I know and have felt God, therefore I know there is a satan and demons. I too believe of what was written in the bible as well as other first hand stories of people either being processed or experiencing the presence of these evil beings.

It is sad to think people are being preyed on by evil and are taking their opportunity to bring cheap thrills, addiction, depression, loss of hope, worthless feelings, suicidal thoughts, seducing feelings, etc. all when one is weak and is distracted from God and God's way. It is also hard to imagine but they also try and trick or distract ones who are set on the lord. They are relentless and will prey on you and those you love. The only way like dancingd, misred, and marlene mentioned is to keep your gaze on God, learn about how the trickery happens and arm yourself with wisdom of how to not fall into these traps of deception.

I believe all of us are capable of falling prey to evil, no one is immune, but everyone is capable of finding a way out from it .. and the answer is through the blood of Christ... not just once, but time and time again, whenever you feel tempted, whenever you feel weak, whenever you feel doubtful... ask for Jesus to bring you strength.

What I always do when I feel this evil presence lurking, not even yet attacking but lurking, I say over and over, "ONLY GOD IS IN MY HEART and only he is in command of my soul. Only he is allowed in my thoughts and heart. In Jesus name I banish you evil spirits to leave my home, leave my thoughts and those I love because you have no authority here and no right. I am but a humble servant of my lord Jesus Christ and if you dare challenge that, then I ask Jesus to banish you himself because I believe in the power of Jesus and he has the up most power here." And you know what, it works. I only feel Jesus and I only feel love after I banish those evil spirits away in his name. I have the up most faith that Jesus has the authority to do so therefore I am never afraid.

For if Satan comes knocking at the door to your heart, ask Jesus to answer it.

This scripture tells me there are more "spirits" out there than I know of!! (demons)

I was fighting for my daughter's boyfriend once. I still am. I went through their house and felt evil in certain places. I held my Bible in front of me and told those evil presences they had to leave!! I felt the power of God around me!! I BELIEVE in demons and the devil!!!!!

By the way, I, with Jesus's help, won that night.
