Amen. Pray for my special friend he is doing lent. I asked why, especially since he doesn’t believe in God, Jesus nor the Holy Trinity. His response is that lent makes him a better person and he grew up catholic. He also told me he is 57 and that is more than enough to have learned right from wrong.

I wonder whether your friend feels there is an existence of a higher power. I am glad the Bible says clearly the right and wrong as opposed to us using our own confused minds to figure out good and bad.

I hope you have had a good week and a good day at work today. My daughter dropped her video editing class before the second week of the class started because she felt the night class in the super cold weather was too exhausting for her. Summer semester may not have classes that she needs so the plan is to start over in the fall semester and to get a certificate and an associate degree on two diferent majors. She has found some online friends from some video game sites to socialize with and it helps her to feel less trapped alone in her small room.

My daughter's latest strange dating situation in her long-distance relationship has got to where she can't do the penpal type of communication with the guy any longer and told him if he wants to continue dating her, he has to move to our state. He has a very important choice to make and may have to choose to end the communnication (relationship). He prefers to continue on the dating with no specific plans but my daughter is looking for a serious committed relationship and is ready to move on to find a new date. She and the guy are both not believers. Please pray for them and my husband for salvation and for my daughter about her situation with the guy. They still talk and made it pass this past Valentine's Day but what will happen next the next two months does not look positive to me. The chance of them going separate ways is almost one hundred percents. I am thankful we believers don't have to walk alone in our difficult times. We have God to call on to.

I know what that feels like. Needing a commitment but the guy is slow moving. I pray God give your daughter all the desires of her heart in Jesus name. Amen

Maybe we can plan to meet. We probably should know how each other look like before meeting. I will work on that in private messages. I hope you have a fun and rested weekend. Yesterday (Saturday) I finally made it to meet with an old friend in person at her apartment and talked for six hours. She and I talked on the phone a few times, and each time the conversation lasted about three hours. We knew each other in 1989 (36 years ago) but lost touch with each other for many years. She is 67 years old. We both were pooped out after our long visit and talking. I didn't plan to visit that long but we talked about different subjects. I was 35 when we met and we hanged out only a short time, about one or two years before she moved to a different part of town and was busy with her full time job while I was busy with many things. The friendship was very good back then so we were able to reconnect but it took a long time to get to the point of visiting in person. We met very briefly about four years ago. I think the reason why it took a long time to reconnect was because we didn't know much about each other when we first hanged out but had good memories of each other.
