Hello everyone,
I feel as though I don't have many people to ask, "please pray for me?" I'm asking anyone who reads this if they would take the time to pray for me. I would be so appreciative and grateful. It feels like I am sliding back to a place I once was where I was insensitive to sin and I am very afraid of allowing myself to fall back to that place. Please pray that God would rescue me from the chains of shame and guilt and pride. And that I could accept the message of the gospel and have true faith in it to the point where I will no longer intentionally sin but always live to please God. I understand we all fall short of the glory of God but it is also true we must not live in sin and allow ourselves to be enslaved to it.

I have 3 kids. 24. 17. 15. My 17 yr old has become super defiant. He and his 15 yr old sister have on their own decision stopped going to their dads because he and his household is so toxic.My 15 yr old and myself feel like we have to tip toe around my son who is 17. And physically towers over us and out weighs us. He has become emotionally abusive and on the verge of becoming physically...
Please guide her path through life. Let your peace reign in her family, at her place of work, businesses and everything she lays her hands on.

I pray that Gisell may possess that expectancy which comes in joyous hope and have the endurance that is controlled by courage and energy. Grant in the future that Gisell may be less anxious & enriched with YOUR peace .

I was an alcoholic when I was saved! God delivered me instantly and completely. But, I never went to a bar or pub, or party where there was liquor the first 25 years after I was saved, and no liquor in my home. So avoiding the places and people where you find some sins, can help.
I also turned to my Bible and read it daily. Something I have been doing faithfully for 37 years, except for 2 difficult years when I first got RA and was not treated correctly. The years I needed to read my Bible most, unfortunately!
The Bible is God's Word to us! He leads and guides us when we read it. If you read 3 chapters of the OT and 1 chapter of the NT you will get through the Bible in a year. And remember to pray that the Holy Spirit will illuminate the passages you need to hear. Memorize them, write them on your heart.
That is how we resist sin! We fill our hearts and mind with God's Word.
"Heavenly Father I pray for this person that you would lead and guide them in your Word. Teach her to resist sin by hiding your Word in her heart. Draw her close to you, so that she would not want to displease you. Give her your love, and renew her daily!
