Christian Fellowship Community Group
A safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies. Please let us know your needs, concerns and have some fun getting to know each other. We treat each other with respect.
I am humbled by your post and welcome you to our group. Many people who are victims of abuse feel what you feel. Blocking off pain is a form of survival mode we have all used at one point or another. It is used until we are matured or better able to come to terms with the situations and reasons for it. It is why I suppose people say "time is healing". It's not really time that heals, but God does allow for good to come into your life and opportunities for growth and healing within time, therefore the saying should really be "God is healing, and uses time as a tool for that healing". I want to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am proud that you have trusted our lord to help you through this healing. His way is truly the best and only way that will bring an abundance of good, hope, peace and closure to your suffering. I pray you will continue to seek God in your good and bad times... in your healing and in your suffering... in your forgiveness and reassurance. May God continue to bring you all the opportunities for growth in the most loving and supportive way possible. May his gentle whispers and embrace be heard and felt in your life. In Jesus name I pray.

I was also abused when I was young, The Lord does provide healing when we lean and trust in Him.
Welcome
You are certainly not alone. We are with you in prayer. Jesus is with you. One thing I have decided is that my own suffering could not be for nothing. I want something good to come of such deeply painful memories of the sinful acts others have inflicted on my life. Unasked for and unwanted. Such meaningless suffering. I think of Christ and how sure I am He shares in our suffering. Though at times it doesn't "feel" like He does. I pray that God our Father, through Jesus our Savior, guides you in His healing ways. It is a life long journey. But with Jesus there by your side the beautiful love of God will fill you in the voids. Have faith in Our Lord. Verbalize your trust in Him when you feel down. Hold the Word of God close to your heart. Share your need for prayer any time. You will be a blessing to others in need in Jesus name Amen.
Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
We are gathered in His name
I am glad you found us here. I am childhood sexual abuse survivor. I know exactly what you are going through. I will pray for you specifically in what you are in need of.
I know of a good book to read on healing our wounded heart if you are interested you can send me personal message ; I would be glad to share. This book is biblical on it's counseling and therapy.
I know a lot of what goes on in the sexual abuse support group is not biblical. I had been apart of that group for a while but realized that I was not wanting to make things worse in there with my biblical thinking. When people are not ready to come to terms in a Christian view, we could be hurting them even more in the wounded hear and mental turmoil they already have from sexual abuse.
It is a healing stage to come to realize that God was with us when we were abused. I remember in my early stages of healing. I wondered why God allowed it to happen if He loved me so much. Oh how I grew with that conversation with God. God is ever merciful and patient with us who are truly wounded and crushed in Spirit. As his scripture says in Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
And in Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
I am here as a friend in Christ if you ever want to personal message me.
Praying for you,
Hope
