I'm the worship co-ordinator at my church and one of my jobs is to organise the music/worship rosters each week. I've had one singer take an extended break due to burnout, a singer who's joining the Police Force and won't be able to commit to a roster for a while, another guitarist left shortly after I took over the leadership, and a piano player who is wanting to cut down her available time. While I know in my head that God is in control, I feel like I'm going to end up with nobody left in the team and it will be just me leading the worship on Sundays with no band!
On the good news side, one of the youth band guitarists has said that it's ok to put him on the roster once a month. Praise God. I just feel that things are a bit thin on the ground. Perhaps the enemy is having a go at me? Please pray that I will hear God speaking to me and please also pray that God will provide new singers and musicians as they are needed. Thanks!

God says, "BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD!" Pslam 46:10 Selah means to pause. Just breathe. You are REALLY going thru. Somes times God allow even the enemy to sift us as wheat for the Lord to receive all the Glory, honor and praise. This happened to the childrens ministry in the summertime at my church. I came to volunteer for a while(a lot of the praise team needed a vacation). Usually there are about 100 children for the worship service for childrens ministry from 3rd grade to 6th. They were overwhelmed and it effected the worship. When we allow God to move in our stillnes, The Holy Spirit takes control. I play the keyboard by ear and I didn't know any of the Hillsongs(I know hymns), The fill in guitarist didn't know the songs either. We let the Holy Spirit lead with a nine year old child singing and oh what anointing fell. What a sweet presence that filled the church. We sang three simple childlike songs and the children worshipped the Lord. We were told by the leaders that the kids haven't responded like that in months. I say all this to say, Allow God to be God, if it is the enemy at work, God allows it. And maybe, just maybe The Lord is doing a new thing. I'll be praying for you for favor, grace and mercy in Jesus Christ name, Amen
