many times I forget about this prayer and I happened to see it today on facebook. It does help, as my anxiety is bad today..worried about my son.I would love a prayer.he hasn't called in 2 weeks and we don't know if he is safe.Please pray that he will phone us.Thankyou and God bless you all

Oooh, worry over a child, I can relate. I catch myself imagining something horrible might of happened without my knowing when I don't hear or see one of my kids. I've been guilty of texting them questions just so they text back and give "proof of life."

The serenity prayer is always a good one. I relied on it a lot when I belonged to Al-Anon (((HUGS))) Love you

Dear Lord, we know you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7). I ask for you to send extra angels to surround Kathilee's son and keep him from harm and for the anxiety she is feeling to be lifted. In Jesus name amen.

Our son called us last night! Praise God..We offered to buy him a cellphone and send it to him but he refused the gift. He really doesn't understand the reason for contacting us and letting us know how he is. He is travelling around BC with some people. He wont tell me where he is. I was crying on the phone ..didn't mean to but I miss him so much.

God is with you Kathy .I will pray that things get better for you Kathilee .
Don't forget these trials are temporary. He'll get us through them . BLESS YOU!!!!!

So glad you heard from him. Yes he doesn't understand why you need to hear from him. I know when I was young I hardly called my parents. Now that I have kids, I understand.
