THE PERFECT SURRENDER AND CONSECRATION TO GOD The following is an excerpt from Christian Roeckle's writings, but by the grace of God I know this innermost surrender from experience.
There is nothing that brings the glory of God into the life of a child of God except a total surrender to God. It is the way to all we can receive from God. It is the way to sanctification, healing and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is also the way to receive power from God to preach the Gospel and to lay on hand to heal the sick. The way to get the fire of God into your soul is to make a surrender that is deeper than words can say. Be not content with the grace you have, but immerse yourself deeper in God, until your surrender is founded on a rock. There lies nothing in these words that God is not willing and ready to give you. But your desire must be earnest and you must be willing to dig deep to the ground and get a totally sincere heart before God. There are heights and depths of consecration we have not yet reached.
The total surrender is the way to put our own self to death. Even when you are saved, sanctified and baptised with the Holy Spirit, there remains still a self-life and a self-will which must be suppressed and made to submit, as Paul says: "I beat my body and make it my slave" (1.Cor. 9.27) and "I die every day" (1.Cor.15.31) When the great Apostle Paul had to chastise his body, then surely we too must suppress our body's desires and put our own self to death, if we want to attain the first resurrection.
There is an inner surrender that only few reach. After all the outer things, like friends, possessions, home and relatives are surrendered, there remains still a deeper surrender, which God wants us all to make. It is so deep, it goes beyond words. This innermost surrender happens between your soul and God, when you in hidden prayer wrestle with the Lord, until you have reached a point where God takes possession of your innermost thinking, wishing, and desire; then the only desire remaining, is to please and obey Him. You are then completely separated from all that is ungodly and totally at His disposal. Human opinions and views of yourself or others won't influence you anymore; your life is then only lived in the will of the Lord.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
