Yes and after I did it, I drifted farther and farther away from God because I sinned with my eyes wide open like Adam. I learned that I was miserable without Abba and the things and people I thought I could not live without shrunk back and seemed less. I ask God to help me capture my thoughts and say no regardless of the fallout or the fear of losing someone. I recognized certain things that would trigger a reaction and I ask the Lord to help me as soon as I sensed I was weak.

yes Ive done both, felt wonderful for resisting , and then I felt horrible after giving in, when Ive given in I felt terrible for quite awhile.

Knowing what you know but doing it anyway is my first name..I feel so lost trapped disgusting in chains to sin hopeless but not anymore I feel free to know i'm forgiven as far as the east is from the west and I can be free to be righteous and have a relationship with God once again and be done with intentional sin

Amen. Repenting or turning from it because we can see how it hurts our relationship with God as well as others and our own soul. That is what we learn to do to break free from the chains of bondage.

Yes for sure. Last big thing was that I could recall thinking "I should not be saying what is about to come out of my mouth". It was Truth, but it was harsh and it was not speaking directly to the person it was about.
So, I ended up talking about how bad I felt and how badly I acted in bible study, then later when I saw the person I spoke to originally and boy, did I have a lot of clean up work to do for that 2 minutes I blew off steam.

What a mess we make of things sometimes even when we know better!

BUT, thank God that he is ready and willing to forgive us when we stumble.
