"She is clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future." Proverbs 31:25
I found this quote on a nice little cross plaque I saw at the hobby store. I got myself one and put it on the wall by my bed so I can read it every day.
I would like to give update on my daughter's situation with her young man. So the latest was she told him "We have to break up." He said he didn't feel there was any problem but understood what she was saying and saw it (the break up) coming but would let her go. My daughter said they probably would not be able to talk again even though she told him if he wanted to ask more questions, she would be willing to talk more. I called the guy to make sure he was okay emotionally, and he was not. With my intervening, they both talked again. The guy said he admitted he messed up and wanted to fix it. The latest (today) my daughter understands they are not back together but can still communicate. She thinks of it as a seperation. I have not checked with the guy to see whether he is cool with that. I think that is not what he wants (the friend status). So they may or may not go back to the dating mode again. I feel this must be hard for the guy because he feels it is all his fault. He has the option to just throw this long-distance dating relationship away or try to persuade my daughter to switch it back to "dating" status. He wants to come to visit next May but if they are "friends," there is no reason of him coming. Please pray for them. I don't know what God's will is for them and am praying that He will guide them. At this point, I would like to see them get back to the dating status. I hope everyone has a nice weekend.
