Well, anything that brings people to seek out Jesus is good... This one lady told me the story of Job, then stopped...I ask her how the story ends and she said read it and find out...I wasn't a Christian and didn't even own a Bible BUT I soon bought one and read Job...And I been reading my Bible ever since, not only did I find out what happened to Job but I found out why Jesus Christ went to the the cross...Now I am a Christian and have been one for many years...love cathyww

yep I have been suckered by half a statement too -- and honestly I did not appreciate the tactic - now from that experience I dont jump to conclusions anymore - but I still do not like it - however most seem to understand and follow it through and do like it --guess I'm just weird - thought couldn't there be in smaller print the remainder of the statement - my thinking there is if you saw the smaller print but didn't have time to read it but it affected you maybe just maybe you would go back bye again so to read it - and it not trigger someone - just a thought -- really I dont like it as is

I think the outreach is good, but execution poor. some people may not process it and go to that site they may just tuck it away and remember as jesus doesn't care.

I don't believe the end justifies the means. Not everyone who reads the sign is going to look up the website. I would think that most of the people who do look it up are outraged Christians. Many who are going through hard times and looking for answers are going to feel even more distraught after reading that sign. I think it is in very poor taste.

I agree with careforsuffering - it is highly unethical to present Jesus in a way that makes him look anything less than the good and perfect God he is. It shames the gospel. It may be that people come to know Christ, but what of those who were thinking about investigating Jesus, see that, and then decide there is no use in trying?

I guess I am glad I am not the judge in eternity. Maybe God will bless them, or maybe this is just another fast track to the "get out of hell" free card, instead of discipleship, and taking up your cross and following Jesus all the way.

i went by a church years ago that had a sign up..."GOD SAW WHAT YOU DID" ...i thought that was pretty strong..not going there but then i ran into a girl at a yard sale that was from that church...i asked her about the sign...she said someone had stolen all the light bulbs out of the church and that was the reason for the sign...i've chuckled about that many times over the years.

I definitely agree with careforsuffering too. This sign is also along the same lines as the "fire and brimstone (sulfur)" preachers and their congregation. People get scared at his histrionics which are grounded with the Bible and then go out and fight against sinning. It's a different way for practicing following God, but I feel a lot of hubris if I dared say it's better to do "this". This is hard to come up anyway. So remember that God Doesn't Care is a tactic. My older brother actually used it on me once; not even kidding.

I want to pass along a friendly reminder and there's no meanness to it at all. The easiest thing to delete is the double or even triple post. For some reason this post came up not twice but 3 times.

& of course, Pogo can't be blamed. DS has a lot of megabytes feeding into the computer; heck, DS has sometimes crashed my computer. We hit the "submit" button and then the computer doesn't even acknowledge it sometimes.

And the poster never wants to see his or her post repeated 2 or 3 times anyway. So a little trimming is good for those duplicate posts.

Even when i read the topic, I had allready considered in how many things Jesus does not care. Jesus does not care what color i am, what nation i am from, who my parents were, how many people ive murdered...but of course this kind of thinking is typical of mankind. The truth is Jesus does care about all of these things...in fact anything we care about...even the most minute detail of our lives, Jesus also cares about.

Of course Jesus cares about our sin. IF HE didnt care, he wouldnt have sacrificed himself for us. Those who are self righteous love to be ourtraged at foolish things of men. Those whose righteousness comes from God(the truly righteous) are always secure in God.

That's a bitter-sweet billboard. Passerby might assume that and take it literally. However, the benefits of that sign is that it brings curiosity to the viewer and then the further investigate on the website to find out what it REALLY means. In a way, it brings many unbelievers onto that sight, mainly curiously wondering what the site's all about. So, as I said, I have mixed feelings.

My first thought is manipulation

I don't like the idea of the sign. It shows the Pastors lack of faith and trust in God that Jesus "can" send people to his web site "without" a sign like that.
