Hi everyone.
A lot of you don't know who I am so I'll tell you a little bit of my story.
My name is Renee. I'm 22 years old. I grew up in an abusive home with a sociopath for a father. I moved out fresh out of high school when I was 18. I was an emotional wreck. I started to gain weight and in 4 months I gained 20 pounds. I was devastated. I already hated my body and felt so dirty so when I gained the weight it made me feel worse about myself. I knew I had to do something about it. I started dieting and counting calories. I stopped gaining weight but didn't lose it. One day when I was feeling like the skim of the earth I threw up my lunch. I loved the way it felt. I knew it was a sin but I couldn't stop myself. This turned into a regular thing. At one point I threw up 4 times a day. This went on and off till last August, with the help of God we defeated it.
On Easter I threw my food up again. I am devastated. I thought this was in my past. I screwed up :/. I am so disappointed in myself. I hate sinning against God. I did ask for forgiveness and I know He forgives me. God and I accomplished so much through this healing process and hate that I took a step back. I now am tempted to throw my food up again :/. I haven't told any body but you guys that I did this, not even my counselor. I just want this to be behind me. I want to forget that it happened.
Please pray for me. I need some help. If you'd like to give me advice that's ok too. Thank you so much for taking the time to read what I have posted here. I truly appreciate it

I'm sorry for what you're going through. It is easy to fall into a self-loathing pattern after you've done something that you're not proud of. God however doesn't want you to beat yourself up and wallow in the guilt, instead of telling God how big your problems are, try telling your problems how big your God is.
I've learned that when we sin, the enemy tells us lies that lead us to feel shame, dirty, and guilty. The enemy loves to leave you in this turmoil of feelings because it keeps you from connecting with the lord.
Remember to always give your worries, sin, everything to the lord. Give him control of your life and let him know that you trust he will give you strength not to fall into pitfalls again. God wants you to trust in him. He just wants to gain strength and comfort through him. Every time you feel that guilt and self loathing creeping in, ask the lord to take those feelings and give you strength and love in it's place. Yes you can beat this disease, but the tools for its success start with God. He can give you those tools, you not need to fear, allow the lord to guide you... allow him to be apart of your world when you do feel the worse about yourself because he will love you and show you how he wants you to feel.
