My prayers are with you GOD BLESS YOU & have a blessed evening!
I did a search on one of my favorite Christian websites and found this info. They have counselors you can speak to. I know it is hard to believe, but talking about it will be helpful for you. There are also articles for you to read. http://www.insight.org/resources/topics/sexual-abuse/
(((HUGS)))
I am so sorry for the horrors in your life that you've had to endure. The pain will forever shape your soul, therefore I'm glad to hear you did find comfort in God. Continue to seek him, continue to give your pain over to him in prayer. I pray that you continue to be blessed by God's love, by his mercy and his grace. May you find strength to continue to fight for your wellbeing and continue to seek comfort. God is with you, continue to invite him in your heart and heal your wounds. In the name of Jesus Christ, may you feel the love I am sending you. The empathy I feel for your anguish, the embrace only felt in your heart is one I send you via our lord.
Continue to stay strong dearest child. Continue to feel the pain purge from your heart so it no longer has any hold on you.
In Jesus name I pray.
Amen.
Many hugs to you dearest Razzy. xo's
Misred, I did check out the Christian website. I find it helpful. Thank you!
Bobsue, I do go to counseling every other week. I have considered changing it to every week.
I have suffered with ptsd and panic disorder and am recovering through the help of God He is leading me to the right people. I will pray that the Lord heals your heart my friend. We all need that.
Here is a link to the song if you are interested. You may already know it, it's by 7th Time Down~ Just Say Jesus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84LSLk3hfD4
I have seen it many times, and believe it's just one of the things our souls must go through when we accept Jesus as our savior, Satan will continue to try, at least once more to tempt you or bring you down. Having Jesus in our hearts doesn't make us immune to it, but it does give us strength and endurance to conquer it.
I personally have been tempted many times, and I too ask Satan to leave in Jesus Christ's name as he is not welcome. I remind him that I am a servant of God, My heart and soul only belong and respond to God's love and I know the truth in him. I am always so comforted to feel God's love replaced by those awful feelings or thoughts and feel at peace once again.
Soooo much to say. But first we must "be still" and know that He is God!!!!! Being still in this case means to slow down or to stop. To stop fighting because God's got it under control.
I cannot say I have experienced this. I cannot say I understand what you are going through. Was not abused in any way when I was growing up. Had some problems since.
I do know that God is bigger than any problem you might have. Bigger than any monster that might linger because of what you have experienced. Big enough to be able to take care of the whole universe. He did create it. He had nothing to do with what has happened since. You see, there is the rub. God gave us all the freedom of choice. I know it's not something that has crossed your mind, but here it is. God gave you the choice to linger on a memory or thought or situation or just to give it to Him. This sounds a little harsh, and I'm sorry. From what I know of ptsd this is what happens. But all you need do is say,
"my God is bigger than you." Sorta like the old thing about, my daddy can beat up your daddy. Well, guess what........this time it's true!!!!!! My Father can beat you ANYTIME.
The biggest thing is that God is waiting for you to turn around, see Him there, and waiting for you to say, "Sic "em, God!!!!!"
A little humor, I know. But you thought about it a little differently, didn't you? I'm glad.
Msred was right. That song "Just say Jesus" really works. When things try to trip me up, Jesus comes into my mind. Then I just can't get that song out of my mind.
Another one you need to listen to is "Overcomer" by Mandisa. Look it up on youtube. It will bless you, You are an overcomer, too.
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
