I have a burning question on my heart and really need your thoughts because I truly believe some Christians cross the line on this issue. Church to my understanding is where you go and worship the Lord from the inside. I believe one should at least dress in a decent way, but not over do it (the only exception in my opinion is if that particular person WANTS to dress up). What I mean by want is just that--they decide to because they felt lead to, not forced to. When I talk about going over the line, I'm talking about where suit and tie are required for men and dresses for women. To me, that's NOT church.
Also, I've heard there's something to do with dress codes in the Bible. Does it really exist in the Bible or is it one of those man-made traditions that Christians follow and to an extreme, some will try to force said belief onto another fellow Christian?
Easter is coming around, and I'm saddened to think that some Christians get puffed up with spiritual pride because they're likely gonna wear their best outfits to worship. I pray not and that we will remember our Lord, Jesus Christ rather than some silly dress code (possibly traditional man-made) and oh yeah, also the Easter Bunny and eggs.

Ask yourself the simple question as to where your focus is , the outside or the inside. My personal thinking is the inside is a lot more important.
Luke 11:39 Then the Lord said to him, "Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

You can only control what you do, just as you have free will, so do others. While it may be difficult not to please refrain from casting 'stones of criticism' at those that criticize, less you fall into the trap of judging another or a false sense of pride.
Matthew 7:1 MSG/NIV1 "Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults - unless, of course, you want the same treatment. 1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
I step into this trap way too much unfortunately, thank God for His forgiveness.
