I know I am to go to someone in love and be gentle with correction. It dislike a
false doctrine to be spread.
hard when you think in your head CANT THEY SEE THEY ARE WRONG< ARE THET BLIND?
I dont do it to be smarter or bigger I do it because I am so desperate that truth be spread and not herasey.
i have been working on it, but I am now letting God work on it. That is the best way.
If you knew me I am not an upfront person,in person, I am gentle and dont speak upp a lot. THEN give me a keyboard or a pen and paper and BAM!!!!
I am so thankful that God is not through with me yet.
If we have much biblical knowledge there is the great temptation to see quickly the speck of sawdust in our brothers eye and overlook the plank in our own. However, if we don't have this basic inner attitude of selfless brotherly love, we should think twice, before we admonish our brother or sister. (1.Corinth. 13.2) If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge...but have not love, I am nothing. I find that the root-sin of anybody who has no victory in his life is unbelief. I am convinced if we rest in the love of God in Christ and rely completely on His accomplished work, it is impossible for us to sin. Only if we turn away from the Lord in our heart through unbelief, we lose our overcoming faith to conquer sin. (Jer. 17.) Cursed is the one who trusts in man...whose heart turnes away from the Lord...But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord...This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1.John 5.1-4)
We get to choose what this group is about. Up until recently, it seems that this group was a delightful mixed bag of brotherly love. We studied some scripture. People asked for prayers. People shared songs that moved them....our diversities mingled into a beautiful synthesis....
Paul to the Ephesians re unity
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it[a] says:
“When he ascended on high,
he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”[b]
9 (What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions[c]? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
I've been thinking about this thread since yesterday. What keeps repeating in my mind is that this is a fellowship group. Why are we gathering together? What connects us? A love of God, right? Meanwhile, we are different. Our backgrounds vary, as do our strengths and foibles. Each of us are at different levels of holiness.

I agree that the lord's word can be manipulated. Just look at the priests or others who questioned Jesus and his ways calling him a hypocrite and a fraud (i.e. one must not work or heal on the Sabbath and other mundane details). It's why God asks that we know our bible... that we arm ourselves with knowledge of what it truly means.
I myself must read my bible more. I know I have the time and every other excuse is just that, an excuse. Hoping I can bring more to the group in terms of knowledge...by for now I humbly bring you much love, peace & support.
Some people, like me , are more sensitive to criticism and to being mistreated than others. Emotional sensitivity is a very common trait but it always remains one of the private secrets that the person never tells anybody about, and as a result those sensitive people are usually hurt by others who don’t notice that they are dealing with sensitive people.
I am overly sensitive at times and need to develop a tough skin .
HisChild ,I am glad my email helped you find "BANANA."
