I pray that you God will help you not to cut. I know it's hard, but if you've done it for a while now, you can continue to do it. Just take it one day at a time.

I am praying for you. I practiced self injury for 32 years. I became way too good at it. I have been free of it now for 13 years. My freedom came from practicing trusting God and prayer and practicing God's word instead of practicing self injury.

I did endure times when I was tempted to once again go back to the false comfort self injury provided but it is only false comfort. It is a little comfort for a short while to try to deal with (mostly emotions) things we feel overwhelmed by. Just about five years ago I endured a time of a few months where all I wanted to do was self injure but instead of doing what I wanted, I practiced things God had taught me. Today I believe I feel things far more deeply than i ever did before but nothing overwhelms me. God carried me through those temptations and he can carry you too.

My prayers for you will continue especially since I understand this suffering as i lived through it myself. I am also offering you someone to speak with and pray with anytime. I found it very helpful to me to share what I went throu with others and to hear what they went through and how they overcame it. You are welcome to call me anytime. I wasbulimic for a long time even now if I eat wrongor feel guilty I will vomit but it is a rare occurancenow.

Cuttingisnt alot different than any other thing, but It doesntmake it any easier does it,you are not alone.

You need to find an outlet that is positive, many people find to create something is a good outlet, I know a lady she ended up a wonderful artist and created wonderful prints. she had attended a class to learn how to express her emothinsin art

I had a friend who used to cut herself, and she said she did it when she couldn't feel anything, and it was the only way she felt like she was alive. She is doing much better now, on meds, and getting therapy. There is always hope, and there is always a great good God Who loves you very much. I'll pray for you that this addiction leaves you. Many people rely on addictions to get through life, and I'm struggling with my own, so I do understand that it's not always easy to let go of some of these things. Razzy I will be praying for you. I think sometimes the devil really does tempt us. Joey has some good advice. My tendency is to fall into pity parties, when things go wrong. I started that slide yesterday. But people prayed for me, and God reached out and touched me.

I pray God will be near, and you will cling to him. Read and meditate on the Word of God. It is the power of God!

razzy..oh, I will pray for you to be delivered from the oppression that makes you want to hurt yourself. You are so precious to God, and He only wants what's best for you...please know this. I know that you may be hurting a lot inside, just reach out for help and He's right there for you. You are so loved, God wants to be with you right now..please don't cut yourself! Hi every one! thanks for praying for me. I have not injured myself :) PRAISE GOD! You guys have really been gracious to me and I appreciate your prayers and support. For the past couple of days I havent even had an urge to hurt myself :)). God has won this victory!

Left wing, I do go to counseling but to be honest she doesnt help that much... when I rely on God I find a much better solution.

Praise God!! Yes, Jesus has won the victory at the cross, we just have to claim it and walk in it. Stay close to Jesus, stay very close to Him and all will be well.
