My pastor moved to another state in 1984.  He left me his sister's address to contact him after he got settled.  I wrote this sister numerous times every year for many years but, never did get a reply.  I contacted a missionary  who was a mutual friend of my Pastor but, again, I got no reply other than he said my Pastor and left the church and had gone back to the world.  About 10 yrs ago, I heard that my Pastor and his wife had divorced.  I didn't know if he was still alive or where he was, nothing.

Last week, I got on Facebook and started searching his name and his wife's name.  I finally found a name that was familiar and the photo resembled this wife that I had known.  I contacted her and yes, she was my Pastor's former wife.

To make a long story short, she got me in touch with my former Pastor.  He called me and we visited for the first time in 34 yrs.  My heart was so blessed.  He told me he no longer preached but, did say he attended church.  I was glad to hear that.  He has never re-married nor has his ex-wife.  These people were so special to me and touched my life and heart in a wonderful way. I told him that I was Pastoring a church and had just started 43 yrs. in the ministry.  He told me before we finished our phone conversation that he was so glad to hear my voice and that he loved me.  I told him I loved him too, always had, always will.  When someone touches your heart and life like he and his wife did, you can't forget that.  That's why I searched for 34 yrs. to try and find them.  Praise the Lord.
