Years ago, we would have friends or relatives come and visit the farm where I grew up. They would stay maybe a few days or maybe a week or so. Any time we knew these visitors were coming, we looked forward to their arrival. In this message today. I want to bring to your attention 3 basic thoughts. I will list a lot of Scripture for you to look at. I don't normally do this but, for this message, I thought it was essential.

When Christ Came:

1. Prophecy was fulfilled: Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign, Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel". Here is a list of prophecies concerning Christ.

f. Rejected by His own Isaiah 53:3 John 1:11
g. Betrayed by a friend Zechariah 11:13 Matt. 26:15
h. Beaten and spit on Isaiah 50:6 Mark 14:65
i. His side pierced Zech. 12:10 John 19:34
j. Lots cast for His clothes Psalms 22:18 Mark 15:24
k. Buried with the rich Isaiah 55:9 Matt 27: 57-60
l. His resurrection Psalms 18:10 Matt. 28:9

All of these Prophecies were written 700 years before Christ came in the flesh.

11. Since Jesus Came: John 1:1-5, 10-14 Man has denied His coming, His existance and has made excuses for not believing on Christ and see no need for salvation. Here are some of the excuses and what the Scriptures have to say about these excuses.

4. "God is Love, I am in no danger" Matt. 22:13 Cast unto outer darkness
Luke 13:3 unless we repent.............

5. "Too many hypocrites" Rom. 14:12 We all will give account...
6. "It'll cost me too much" Mark 8:36 What shall it profit...............
7. "I can't leave my friends" 2 Cor. 6:14 be not unequally yoked.....

Since man's excuses can't stand against God's word, Man now tries to take God away from Man's mind and daily thoughts.
a. prayer out of schools
b. Bible out of schools
c. 10 commandments off of courthouse walls.
d. Nativity scenes from State, County and Govt. properties
e. Bacculaureate services having to be held off school property
f. Media using fallen preachers as a way to stereotype all preachers
g. False Prophets, cults, false teachers are on the rise in popularity

Question: Does the Bible have anything to say about these things happening?

2 Tim. 4:3 says this: "For the time will come when they (man) will not endure sound doctrine but, after their own lusts, shall they heap themselves teachers, having itching ears, and they shall turn away their ears front the truth and shall be turned unto fables.

POINT: "I'd rather have sore toes from a toe walking preacher than I would have itching ears from a false teacher"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

111. What happens then, when Christ comes again? 1 Thess. 5:2 says "For yourselves know perfectly, that the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night." Matt 24: 37-44 " one taken....other left.

You see, it was prophecied that Christ would come. It has been prophecied what man will do since He came, and, it is prophecied what will happen when He comes again.

You weren't here when He came the first time, You may be here when you see the happenings of today, and you may also be here when He comes again. One thing is for sure. You will meet Him .
A. In the Rapture
B. In death
We will all see Him one of these days. Question is, Will you be ready when that time comes?

Christmas is the birth of Christ here in earth. There would be no CHRISTmas without CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
