I'm sorry to hear you are going through this. Being caught between two war waging parents was what sent me into a spiraling depression. It's these grey areas you can't figure out that sit in the back of your mind tapping into your thoughts. I know it is a hard thing to do, but I would level with your Dad. Ask him if its right for him to pin you against your own mother for education support. Don't be afraid to take out student loans and pursue education by yourself knowing that you didn't take your Dad's toxic help. And if this is a sign of things to come, what is to say he doesn't quit paying for your education midway through because he had some other crazy problem.

thank you for it means a lot to me whatever you said. asking my dad would be terrible as he is threatening and rude over the phone. he blocks me over whatsapp. tells me to beg his sister to pass my message. its like im being played between the two. as im the breadwinner for mum and myself. it leaves me emotionally exhausted and hopeless foe rest of the life . yeah i do think the same. he isnt a reliable guy. cant trust him anymore for even sponsoring school as he would leave midway. he considers education as investment for he must gain sthg out of it asap. like money or stuff. for very reason his son from second marriage ran away from home coz he was hovering over him for outputs. not grades but sthg he must earn or make money like that. unfortunately the country i live in, India. has no such things as public school loans.. for the very reason i begged my father to help me relocate to States. but he has his own conditions. that i must sell myself to guys there for his propagation as good father who can make beautiful kids. im an introvert kid and i hate such stuff. id im beautiful thats for myself. not to commercialize it. but my father keeps it as an asset to sell for his own vested motive. he has got the blood thirsty vampire ambitions that would end only once he is bedridden. and who knows when it will happen
