I am 31 years old now. Just came across the forum and wanted to share my story. I was just 2 yrs old when my parents were divorced. Me and my elder brother were raised by my mother alone. My father never came to see us and I never got s father's love. In school I was so afraid to answer my friends where my father is. I never knew it. I used to live in Pakistan those days. Fast forward me and my brother both completed our studies and becsme medical doctors. Our mother is proud of us and we are proud of our mother who played a double role of being a father and a mother. After about 27 years my father contacted my brother snd wanted to meet us. It was a big decision but we went to see him. Life was very different now. We both were no more small kids who needed a father's love.
My mother was too afraid to get me married as she thinks all men are selfish. Finally I met a man online and married to him. A decision very difficult to be made and accepted. Now I am in USA. Married for 5 yrs snd happy but have no children. Just lost my first baby to stillbirth 2 months back
