Unfortunately you're in a position in which you have to grow up quicker than most people, so grab life by the horns, so to speak, and create the kind of life that you want to have. Get out of your house as much as possible and try to keep yourself from being dragged down by the people who want you to disown your feelings, your personality, and your sense of self. Start journaling (if you don't already) and write about the kind of life that you want to create, the kind of person you want to become. Create goals for yourself, and small steps to attain them. It would be nice if you were surrounded by supportive people, but you aren't, so you can't rely on these other people to dictate your life. Start reaching out and making some positive friends. Before you know it, you will be old enough to move out. Don't give up your college dream-- education is the path to financial stability, which then creates all kinds of other options.
