In July of 2011 me X lovely bride was ordered to pay me child support of $100 a week in a temporary order that stated she was to direct the unemployment office (she was/is unemployed) to have it withheld and directed through the court clerk, she never did either.
In November the final decree said the same, again she never abided by the orders.
She paid me some directly, never on a set schedule, stopped altogether this past Christmas.
I contacted the local enforcement office, they mailed me an application packet that week (2 weeks ago) I filled it out and sent it back, never heard from them.
I called them this past Thursday, they said they were waiting on the court clerk to provide her payment history, they said they would call me back, they did about an hour later, said they would file with workforce services to have her checks garnished, but to not expect anything fast.
I am going to try to update this as things happen, the information may help someone else, if you have any experience to share please do, sucks when your X won't fulfill their financial obligations.

Oceanbluze, I could tell you a totally opposite story...My hubby had paid all of his support did not even miss a month..We had been paying with money orders and actually had kept them all but one...lost that one..but it was paid...My hubby had to go to court we had told them we had been paying all along...which she didnt think we kept proof..she tried to lie to the judge and said she wasnt getting anything..we pulled out all of our reciepts...except for the one...He got probation because we could not find the reciept. He had to pay 500 in fine because we couldnt find it and pay the extra month...We later found the receipt and submitted it to child support...they didnt remove the probation, nor give back the fine...
As of a couple months back he got 6 dollars in arrears and they sent him a license suspension...This is not even his fault as child support is taken directly from his wages also...We had to call the dmv and let them know that cs comes out and the 5 week it catches up...and puts it over by 200..To me it is all bs...
I also think you need to be accountable for where this money is spent..His X squanders it all away by doing her nails and hair, eating out all the time..does not buy the kids clothes and tell them how horrible their dad is that does not pay but only 1200 a mo in cs but she cant afford a home for the kids...YEH tell me???????
