I was talking to some one and child hood age of 10 came up.. Out of the clear blue sky I said I was never `10. It never dawned on me till then at age 51 that I was never a child. My dad married my step mom when I was 5. From that point on I became the women of the house. I did all the ironing the dishes and cared for the babies as they had them.. I was 8 and left for hours at a time to care for them.. diapers bottles and ect. when I was 10 my dad would call me a whore and slap me across the face for being one. I didnt have a clue what sex was. My birth mom was a hooker then a pimp and didnt come into my life till I was 21. My dad was afraid I would be like her. And i look like her so he took it all out on me. At 12 i was told I was old enough to buy my own clothes and told to get a job. I washed my clothes by hand while my sisters got to use a washing maching. My dad did many years of name calling and slapping and punching. at 15 I was pregant at 16 married. then my step mom had an affair with my husband and she stole my baby. I have been married 3 times all to drunks and abusers. A few hears ago a doctor told me my husband was abusive. I hadnt even noticed. I thought that was a normal way of life. At 51 I am going to start living

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
im sorry this happened to all of us.
At almost 30 I'll do the same ;)
Yeah, that's familiar, when I was a kid I thought it's like this with every mother who finds a new mate. That they come and go and grab that woman's kid whenever they want to etc. ... Then when I later read single mothers' posts about their new mate, that it was extremely important to them to find one who can take care of their kid(s) as well... I was shocked... :PP
But it's nice to know THAT is the normal and not what I got for about ten years!
And yes, I've never been 10 myself. My beloved father died before that and from that point hell began...
Wishing much LOVE to you All to come to your precious ways...~
