Finally chatted with my OM today. Nice long chat and then we arranged to get together. He told me how he would like me to dress. I accommodated his requests. I drove to our meeting place and waited. I got a text saying he would be late. Then I got a text saying a friend had dropped by and to give him a bit more time. Finally, I got a text saying that something urgent had come up with his mother and he would have to cancel. As I have mentioned in previous posts, we only were 'together' once, back in December. We have made plenty of dates since and they all end up cancelled. It cannot be coincidence that something interferes each and every time. I feel I am being played so that he can feed his ego knowing the control that he has over me. The question is, why do I go along each and every time all the while knowing in my gut what is going to happen.
iris: Yes, it does blow...and, yes, we have a lot of online contact. When he is in the mood, he can talk to me online for hours. I really do think that is his preference, but I wish he would stop making plans with me that he has no intention of following through on...or that I could get my shit together enough not to get my hopes up every time.
