My little car is dead. Timing chain broke and the engine is toast. It was my housekeeping car as well. It had my magnetic signs that advertised my business. We will get the signs back and put them on H's car if they fit but I grieved the loss of my car. I loved that car. It will create some difficulties and i can't buy another car right now.
On day 2 after finding out the bad news I thought about the fact that this was my A car. In that way it is probably a good thing to move on from it. It has been hard after Dday to drive around town in that car with my signs on it....a shining beacon to OM....can't miss it. For now I am invisible to OM while I am driving my H's car. Interesting. I haven't seen him lately though. Eventually I will have signs again. I need the advertising. It will probably take a little while for OM to notice the signs on a different car since he won't be looking for that. Although I work in his neighborhood twice a month so maybe not so long. We are thinking of changing my business name, but he will still figure it out in short order. Geez, I think I'm obsessing about these things too much. Who cares? It doesn't matter.
Off topic: My business name is pretty boring. Copple Cleaning Service. I am thinking of changing it to *drumroll please* "Barefoot Cleaning: The Green Clean Team". I thought of this because your house will be so clean you will want to go barefoot and also because I always work barefooted. Also we use green cleaning products. What do you think?

But, in the US there is a service where people would come and clean your house IN THE NUDE.
The first thing that popped into my head when I read " Barefoot" , I thought NUDE.
I envision a pregnant lady barefoot scrubbing a kitchen floor.
Just my opinion.
You could do something like "couple green clean cleaning service"
That makes a change, adds the green but leaves in the recognizable couple to not lose word of mouth.
My sign could say:
Copple Cleaning Service
Green Cleaning
References available

That's pretty much what my old signs said except instead of green cleaning it said "commercial and residential" I don't really think I need that line. The green cleaning angle is new. 13 years of chemical exposure is enough and I am tired of those dang rubber gloves to protect my skin. My green products are awesome.
I can get back my old signs but i don't think they will work on hubby's car and they are getting old anyway. We will soon have a secondary car for emergencies that I can put those on. i really want to get new ones with the green clean on them.
