This is a support group for cheating spouses looking for understanding and strength. Betrayed spouses are welcome to post ONLY if they can do so in a supportive manner (no bashing...these posts will be deleted), and please do not comment on 'Cheaters Only' posts.
The process is the most important. If he is completely open and honest regarding any questions and takes full blame, he is starting on the right path. He should open invite you to have access to all his social media and messaging app/accounts.
If he blame shifts or hides things then he isn't. If he offers résistance to providing you access to his accounts then he isn't.
Get tested to make sure you don't have aids.
He doesn't deserve your loyalty but I'd agree that wishing someone a slow and painful death probably isn't helpful.
What did my BS say at our worst moments?
"Did you wear your wedding ring when you were f---ing him?"
"I'll probably die of a heart attack from the pain you are causing me."
How did I feel? I seriously contemplated suicide for about 5 or 6 months. Very seriously. I'm a bit surprised I never did.
And before you say that's not much of a marriage, wait til you're married 25-30 years and see how you feel about yours. Marriages are not like on TV....not one bit.
