This is a support group for cheating spouses looking for understanding and strength. Betrayed spouses are welcome to post ONLY if they can do so in a supportive manner (no bashing...these posts will be deleted), and please do not comment on 'Cheaters Only' posts.
There is an unscrupulous practice among other women that I have given the term in the title.
Cheaters: does your affair partner say your name at the moment just before or during orgasm? Does she ask that you do the same? Do you comply? If not, does she pout and withdraw? Does your affair partner do small, barely perceptible stimulating things while making requests for material things or their preferred activities or while you are making decisions? Do you find that any erotic stimuli make you think immediately of the affair partner?
Betrayed spouses: has your spouse ever started to call you by the wrong name at the wrong time? When you touch him lovingly, does he get a faraway look?
Other persons: have you consciously or maybe unconsciously tried to instill this Pavlovian connection in your affair partner? What was your goal, that the affair would be discovered and your partner would fly into your arms? Did it work out that way?
I knew of the concept and heard accounts of it succeeding, at least in part, before the affair. I was surprised when she tried it. She should have known I don't play that game.
This is only one reason I have no difficulty with no contact. More to come.

I will try and remember not to post in this room again, and reading in here just gets more and more bizarre and unhelpful. I am sure it is just me.
