How is it possible that someone can have such a hold on your life and effect so much of your life? The fact that they take up so much of your thoughts? That they make you do crazy things and act differently? That they occupy every waking moment? If I were single and young and this person had this affect on me I would call it love, but being married 13 years and having a child, and having had a 2 year affair with this person, just makes me sound crazy and obsessed. What happens to us as we get older. We are supposed to be smarter. Right?
I know the answer is to ignore those feelings and not act on them. I know that.
But for all of the temptations we live thru and resist or ignore and remain true to our M, why did "this" OP get thru our boundaries??
I believe when we are in these affairs it fulfills something that we are missing in our lives..also I believe that when we get into these A's we give everything we can because there's no threat in it coming true because we are married..we open up completely and honestly cause it's just somewhat of a dream and fantasy to find the perfect love..we hold on because we truly want there to be a happily ever after, so we go all in to prove that..it's hard admitting that maybe this was something that we created so we cling to it, and try to make it reality..
I don't know, hard to explain..
