If you read the last post, you know I’ve been working hard at NC. Today my AP found me at work and said a quick hi. It has made me feel bad because even though I told him several weeks ago it was over and I’m working on my marriage, I never told AP that I would now completely ignore him. So in the occasional moments I see him, I feel bad and guilty for how I’ve been treating him. But I know I shouldn’t. Also, today is my birthday so for some reason, this makes me feel worse.
That's who he is to your husband. Your sympathy should be towards your husband and not focused on this man.
Reorient your perspective and prioritize your husband's feelings over your affair partner's.
Your efforts need to be directed to your husband. You are lucky he didn't kick you to the curb.
