The further I am from my EA the more time I have had to think. To step back and ask myself "why"? Why I was seeking someone else or even open to it. My EA asked me this specifically and I didn't have an answer. In my mind I was living a wonderful life. My W and I had a nice home, good kids and good jobs. The reality was the weight of that house (mortgage), stress of having kids and working too much was coming down on me. Some people might think ill of me but having kids is great way to destroy a marriage. I don't think men are wired for it, at least I'm not. I just don't handle small children well. Maybe I am too much of a control freak and can't handle the chaos that comes with kids....don't know. When my wife and I are together we are great, perfect actually. Add in the stresses of modern life, kids, pets and I jist want to get away. I find no "happiness" in it. So I was seeking that happiness elsewhere, I still am at times.
