I am 51 and I own a housekeeping business. small business. I do a great deal of the work myself and I work far too hard. Sometimes 10 to 13 hour days. I don't always get to post here, even when I really want to because of working so much and being totally exhausted the rest of the time. I am trying to change that by hiring out more of the work. My H, Cole, works with me part time since he lost his job 3 years ago. That's why I work so much harder now because my business is the only income now. Cole has Parkinson's disease. He was diagnosed less than a year ago. We have 3 grown children, 2 of which are still home. I have 2 grandchildren I see twice a year and they are here right now for 8 days! :-D While they are here I am getting maximum help so I am not gone so much.

Wow I see a lot of us early-50's type people! Married w/ kids, professionals. And let's be honest, I do not have the 20-30 something body I used to have, why do I wait till 50+ to get all involved in sexual exploits, when I could have done it in my 30's and been confident about my looks. I guess I have not psychoanalyzed myself to find out if this is sexual or emotional.
At this point I don't really want to know myself that well....yet! :)
