Surprisingly, FOM didnt contact me either. Im a bit surprised bc hes been txting me almost everyday for the last wk. for a while today i felt a bit sad and the mind games started.

Then i stopped myself. I remembered it was over. I knew it couldn't go on. I no longer wanted to leave my H and family. We tried the friends thing and that didnt work. And in my attempt to keep this whole A under wraps and move on, NC is the only way. Especially if H checks phone records, how would that look that a guy is txting me on vday.

So you were still in contact w OM even after your H found that email last week? I thought if H knew you guys were still in contact that was gonna be a deal breaker for him.

Mine would ignore me for as long as he could, or as long as he needed to, until I starred to pull away or got afternoon from anyone else, including my DH. Then OM would panic and reel me in, just to check that I was still on the hook, only to throw me back and let me struggle awhile longer. It was all a game and there was no winning for any of us.

If you decide to be in charge of your life you can choose to see this as your first day of NC. Take ownership and make it your choice, that you didn't contact him, Day 1 of owning your life again.

My ex did text me this morning at 8 am saying "happy V day"...little to little to late, where was he the last 6 days after he told me he couldn't see me anymore cause I was married, which he has known for 17 years...
I didn't respond...
I wish I never would have gotten it!! Please consider yourself lucky..all it causes is pain anyways..
He didn't do it because he was thinking of me he did it to get out of the shit house..didn't work, he's still there...

We have other ways to stay in touch. And I will be talking to him to tell him what a thoughtless ass he is. And then give him the cold shoulder for a while.

He was in no mood for a lecture and of course I caved.
