Champions Of Christ Church Community Group
This is a church, but online! Most people view a church as the building you go to for worship. NOT TRUE. In the beginning, it was a community that shared things. This is a church. A web-based community who can share with others. Feel free to ask questions. There are no "dumb" questions. How will you know unless you ask. I only ask that you have JOY. (Respect of Jesus,...
Have you ever felt like you were placed somewhere.

So for the past few years, my life has been a roller coaster. After I got my degree, I ended up working as a delivery driver, where I met the choir director of the church that I now call my own. For the longest time I wondered why I had been stuck there but then as I began to think back, I realize that the reason was He wanted me back in church because in the upcoming years, I would need a good church family.
As my dad's health went down, I picked up a second job in order to pick up the bills that were getting pushed to the side. During that time, I made a delivery to someone who had been a long time customer. As I walked into the office, he offered me a job. Told me to think about it, and that I would need to come in for an interview. I jumped at the chance, thinking that it had to be a sign, why else would a more or less complete stranger offer me a job?
At first it was hard, I kept thinking that there was no way I would be good enough, but I had to keep believing that there was a reason I had been offered the job.
From the beginning, they told me that family came first (A concept which seemed unheard of at another job of mine), but not just family, they worked with me so that I could continue choir even though I work weeknights. When dad went into the hospital, and my mom was there with him, my coworkers would leave food here for me to take home. They knew none of us would want to cook. As the few days turned into 2 weeks, they took up a fund (An act that had me sitting here crying for hours because I was unused to being helped.) Because of that fund, we were able to give dad the best Christmas that we could muster up.
I guess in a long winded way I just want to say this. If you have an opportunity, even if it doesn't seem like it is truly for you (I was a delivery driver who had just gotten her license, and offered a job in technical support with an English Degree) think about, pray about it, because there is probably a reason God is leading you to that path, even if the road looks impossible, He is going to walk with you.
