Champions Of Christ Church Community Group
This is a church, but online! Most people view a church as the building you go to for worship. NOT TRUE. In the beginning, it was a community that shared things. This is a church. A web-based community who can share with others. Feel free to ask questions. There are no "dumb" questions. How will you know unless you ask. I only ask that you have JOY. (Respect of Jesus,...

From time to time here,I've shared requests for prayer concerning my housing situation. Here I am again, only added to that situation is my confession that I suffer from extreme paranoia, similar to my brother's (he's not getting help for his so please pray for him too). The last time I saw my pdoc,I told her about the paranoia because it was getting worse. Dr. M said paranoia is a symptom of bipolar disorder, which I also have. But I'm not trying to make excuses...Tonight I'm humbly asking for prayer because of two women who live here (I live in a assisted-living facility, which I guess I should say was the choice made by two caring but unfortunately un-Godly women,my sisters). These ladies, whom I'll call Aggie and Maggie, are people I dislike, though of course there's no excuse for that either. Dislike is similar to hatred and hatred is akin to murder. I've been living here a long time and there have been tense moments (which is to be expected when you live with 15 people, and have for nearly 6 years),but I really do want to love everyone here which is what the Lord commands of me.Please pray for me that the Holy Spirit will fill me with agape love and forgive me for any sins I've committed against Him and these two ladies.Thank you.

If it's an issue God has laid on your heart, it is an issue we can pray about.
I applauded you on seeking out our, and God's help!!!
I will pray for you.
It's impossible to really love everyone. Personality differences don't allow for that. I work at a group home for special ed. adults. There are 12 women who of course don't all get along. We teach respect for each other.
In the Greek, there are four types of love.
Agapeo: Unconditional love; the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation
Phileo: Love between friends
Eros: The sense of being in love; romantic love
Storge: Love of family; Parent/child, siblings, cousins, etc. In a very close family, agape is felt as well.
We, now days, have only one word. But, we express it in different ways. (this is one of my biggest problems with the English language.)
Agapeo: The Greek word that refers to the love of God, one of the kinds of love we are to have for people, is agape. Agape is the very nature of God, for God is love (1 John 4:7-12, 16). The big key to understanding agape is to realize that it can be known from the action it prompts.
Agape is love because of what it does, not because of how it feels. God so "loved the world " (agape) that He gave His only son (John 3:16). It did not feel good to God to do that, but it was the loving thing to do.
Christ so loved (agape) that he gave his life. He did not want to die, but he loved, so he did what God required.
I just found a website that explains this so well:

Daniel Sweet is the author. He did a wonderful job of explaining. Please, check it out!!!
