Cerebral palsy or CP is the most common childhood physical disability. It is a permanent physical condition that affects movement. There is no cure for cerebral palsy, but various forms of therapy can help a person with the disorder to function more effectively. Hi All!

I am considering starting a social service organization but I would like to be based around mental health or people with disabilities. I am tossing around ideas? Any of you have ideas on what you feel could assist people?

You could have meetings or support groups where people can get together to talk and relate of life and frustrations. Also, you could go to your local government run organization for the disabled and ask what they are lacking on and go from there.

I would agree with a support group for people with disabilities.

Make sure someone on your staff has Certified Addiction and Drug Counselor (CADC).
You'll need certification for Dual diagnoss & billing

Great ideas everyone thank you!!! I really need to work from home because my public transportation is not always reliable! I currently work 20 hours a week as an employment specialist finding jobs for people with disabilities. Ironic huh? haha. However, most are looking for part time in customer service. I need full time and I think starting work from home is my best option. Have any of you done work from home before?
