Welcome to DS! I also suffer from lovely tendonatis in my wrist/ elbow. It is a pain like non other sometimes. I have anti inflamatories when it flares up. Also recently getting it massaged from a massage therapist helps a great deal. Was thinking of cortiosone shot she said that should be a last resort Im to young. :D
Yes the pain can get pretty severe Michelle, I know what you mean, thankfully for me its not too often, mostly its a dull pain when it comes. It stinks cause I've never had pain from my CP before until now so its new for me.
I do hope to see a specialist in the fall when I have more time and hopefully go in for surgery. Another problem I'm having is my left wrist keeps progressively bending outward, I've heard there is a surgery for that as well to straighten the wrist. As for the tendon cutting surgery I've heard of it seems harmless, I've heard its a quick cutting of the main tendons in the hand and foot. I'd imagine it would make me a bit weaker but I'd take that over my fingers and toes curling up on me.
Well thanks again for the welcome!
