Cerebral Palsy Support Group
Cerebral palsy or CP is the most common childhood physical disability. It is a permanent physical condition that affects movement. There is no cure for cerebral palsy, but various forms of therapy can help a person with the disorder to function more effectively. If you or a loved one has cerebral palsy, join the group to share your experience or get advice from others.
From the video's I seen on Youtube on Dystonia the peoples bodies seem really distorted in odd positions where people with CP their bodies are in normal positions but there arms move more,
They don't seem very similar looking at those so just curious as to how adult onset dystonia can mimic it?
I have been diagnosed with Ataxia but apart from ataxic gait, balance problems and fine motor difficulties my arm movements aren't constantly shaky but more similar to some mild cases of athetoid CP in the way they move when I try to use them.
Someone suggested Dystonia to me but from video's I've seen they are nothing like my movements and I'm constantly asked by strangers if I have CP!
