I'm still taking GABA and its working great so far. After doing a bit more research I've cut back to only taking one 750mg dose a day, usually in the morning before work. The suggested daily dosage by doctors is no more than 800mg, unless you have severe anxiety or such.
There's nothing wrong with taking more, but it might calm you too much. :)
I started back on it today again and didn't notice a big difference yet, but its only one day. I'm only going to take it every other day or when I'm feeling anxious, or if I have a social event, etc., just because I don't want to get addicted.
I've also read its a downer, so you can't use it a lot or you could get depressed, but I haven't had any side effects as of yet. I'm just amazed at how much less jumpy I am and nervous. But with CP if we cannot produce GABA naturally that might explain my anxiety. Without GABA there's no "stop sign" so to speak to calm your brain down. Explains why I've been this way most of my life.
