Celiac Disease Support Group
Celiac disease is an auto-immune disorder of the digestive system that occurs in genetically-predisposed individuals. It is characterised by damage or flattening to all or part of the villi lining the small intestine, which interferes with the absorption of nutrients. This damage is caused by eating anything with gluten (gliadin), a protein found in wheat, rye, and barley...

There are many reasons for still feeling lousy.
***if you are eating supposed GF processed foods, you could be getting enough gluten to remain ill. Try eating only fresh meat, veggies, and fruits for a couple months. That will give you some help.
At the same time, start a food diary. This is where you write date, time, day of week, food eaten with amount. And time/day of all symptoms. You might have some other food issues. A good doctor will look over this diary and be able to discover some insights. You might be able to pinpoint it yourself.
Feel better
Yes, it is a darned nuisence. How can it not be? I am surprised.
People feel differently about things. Best not to talk about it to these people. Why bother?
There is no need.
Okay, if someone came into my shop and started laying down the law in such a fashion, I would very quickly invite her/him to leave.
Putting her down in my memory as one of those who diet with what ever, and enjoy the attention.
(they would be most welcome to comment - strongly) if there were adverse nut containing foods)
Now a guten free diet to me is nothing but a damned nuisence. I can not see, where it is not so.
No, some people will never get it. Why, well how long did it take for those who need a medically diagnosed gluten free diet to get used to gluten free food? So how can a lay person? Need to do some studying. Why would they want to?
Those with Celiac Disease are probally still getting used to it with the updates etc.
Anyway why bother?
I do not care one little bit if people get it or not. I do not see why that will be a problem for me.
This message is about people not understanding a gluten free diet, and therefore not knowing about it.
But another felt great annoyance was felt when she was asked about it at gatherings.
As Nanny1611 suggests a counselor will listen and help.
